As of: 10 September 2026 · Version 3. This directory is updated with versioning whenever formats change. POS module exports are available in live operation from the activation of the POS module (POS Module Supplementary Agreement, Annex 3 § 9); exports generated in test mode are marked as test data. For POS data, the statutory retention periods of § 147 AO apply per document type (currently ten, eight or six years); the operator retains them as a CONTRACTUAL service uniformly for ten years in machine-readable form. When switching providers, they are handed over in full (DSFinV-K) and only retained further on request for a fee.
International governmental access (Art. 28 EU Data Act): Non-personal data is stored primarily in data centres in Germany (netcup GmbH); backups are kept in the EU region of an object storage service, and certain transmission data (e.g. push notifications) with the services named in § 6 of the data processing agreement. The operator only discloses such data to authorities of third countries if there is a binding decision that is effective under EU or member state law; it examines requests for their legal basis, limits disclosure to the necessary minimum and informs the customer insofar as legally permissible.
